Position Title: Associate Manager, Marketing Commercialization, Pest Control

This Role will join the Consumer Insights and Business Analytics group, and help lead the transformation of the function from decision support to influencers of the strategic business planning process through the application of advanced analytics capabilities; Build advanced analytic capabilities to enhance SCJ’s understanding of business performance, to improve business planning and increased return on investments across advertising, promotion and trade activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of “Best in Class” analytic capabilities to fuel SCJ growth and step change our effectiveness in advertising, promotion and trade activity
  • Partner with Cross Functional team (Marketing, Media, Finance, Sales, etc…) to develop comprehensive Marketing Measurement strategies that will enable SCJ to drive ROI and deliver Top & bottom line business objective
  • Work with key vendors to complete Marketing Measurement studies (Marketing Mix, Single Source, Promotion analysis, eCommerce) that lead to clear recommendations that maximize efficiency and effectiveness of marketing efforts
  • Effectively support the Ecommerce team’s growth objectives and knowledge development through the evaluation of big data opportunities, vendor capabilities, consumer targeting, media optimization and measurement.
  • Collaborate with Analytics COE to deploy Media Measurement best practices across categories and geographies
  • Effectively communicate analytical findings of the local market/category to global team and conversely integrate global learnings into local analytic projects
  • Develop local market/category learning agendas and partner cross-functionally in research design and implementation
  • Partner with Human Resources Organizational Effectiveness team to train commercialization teams on business analysis fundamentals to establish consistency and rigor to the approach each team uses and improve speed to insight

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field; MBA or advanced degree in research and statistical field preferred
  • 3-6 years of experience in Business Analytics, preferably with recent experience working for a world class Consumer Packaged Goods Company. Experience working for Nielsen or IRI would be a plus
