The Role

As the Associate Manager, Customer Marketing, your role is to lead the administrative and operational management of the Customer Marketing Team deployed for New Zealand as the Cluster Member. Works with the Manager, Customer Marketing to execute customer programs in local market.

What you will do

  • Supports local sales team in presenting launch plans to major customers, and securing alignment on activations
  • Manage Total SKUs (jointly with Marketing and PS), and deliver SKU optimization actions
  • Provide Category support to the Sales Team in the development and presentation of Joint Business Plan with major Global/Regional customers
  • Provide Category Management support to the country, and ensure all distribution and display initiatives are timely and properly executed local
  • Develop, execute and monitor promotions (do pre-and post ROI analysis, in collaboration with Local Sales, Cluster CM, Finance)
  • Manage coaching and development of local CM team in coordination with Cluster CM Manager

The requirements

  • A university degree is required, ideally in business/marketing
  • At least 1 year each in a Marketing & Commercialisation and a Field Sales/Sales Management role
  • Multi-functional experience in Customer Marketing, and either in Sales and/or Marketing, in a result driven FMCG Company
  • Knowledge of the categories, pertinent key customers, and key competitive set
  • Experience in the New Zealand or Australian market is preferred
  • Strong Commercial Acumen
