Position Title: Analyst, Inventory & systems

External Description:

Summary:

The role delivers the accuracy and maintenance of SAP master data relating to the logistics function.  The scope of the role includes inventory management and accuracy throughout the network, disposals, internal and customer logistics master data.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Deploy and govern global processes in inventory and system management

Service

  • Manage the inventory accuracy in Logistics Service Provider (LSP) to meet budget and operational key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Analyze and solve problems involving inventory variances, receipt discrepancies, returns, obsolete damage, custom pallets, confirmations, past dues, and unfilled orders
  • Analytical and reporting support to Logistics Function

Cash

  • Inventory management including compliance and reporting of First In-First Out (FIFO), remnant and obsolesce (Ageing report with analysis)
  • Coordinates communication between SCJ Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Inspection(QI) personnel and their RDC/Contract Packager counterpart regarding identification and disposition of inventory that does not conform to quality standards

Cost

  • Cost savings through sustainable continuous improvement (Cost Savings/ avoidance)
  • Inventory Accuracy, including book to book reconciliation, coordination and audit of cycle and stock counts
  • Waste and disposal process

 

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering or any Business related studies
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Experience in Supply Chain/Customer Service with close relation to Logistics and Inventory
  • Project Management skills
  • SAP knowledge
  • Product Supply experience in other disciplines

 

Job Requirements:

  • Full Time, Mondays to Fridays, 8am to 5pm
  • Overtime may be required based on critical deliverables
