Position Title: Associate Manager, Accounting

External Description:


This role is to be an expert on financial statement and tax affairs, monitoring actual performance against standards/target on functional and OID, and become business partner with related departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accounting and reporting
    • Monthly monitor the month end closing process for GC.
    • Prepare monthly performance commentary for China Cluster
    • Comply with local GAAP, U.S. GAAP, and local laws and regulations
    • Prepare and review account reconciliation for those special accounts per SOAR requirement
    • Communicate with SSC for any change on allocation and intercompany charge.
    • Complete and submit the annual year end schedules on time
    • Monthly submit financial statements and related statistics to State/Local Statistics Bureau Network for all legal entities
    • Support the completion of joint-annual enterprise inspection
    • Coordinate to solve day-to-day financial issues
  • Tax
    • Compliance with tax regulation and prepare monthly tax claim
    • Prepare and complete annual tax filing
    • Prepare the non-trade export business transaction
    • Prepare deferred tax accounting
    • Coordinate the completion of tax projects
    • Provide advice and support on tax issues arising from the operation of all business entities
  • Control and SOAR
    • Support internal audit and annual external audit and review
    • Complete the SOAR testing and follow up the execution of GIA audit result
    • Develop and maintain controls and compliance
  • Planning and Monitoring
    • Prepare and coordinate budget forecasting, financial planning
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
  • With more than 5 years working experience in Finance
  • Experienced in ERP, SAP is preferred

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Strong Computer skills, Microsoft Office, SAP, BPC Professional certificate is preferred, such as ACCA, CPA
  • Have good analytical skills and thought leadership
  • Good sense of responsibility and can work under pressure.
  • Quick learning and positive mindset to seek for solutions
  • Good command in English
  • Good knowledge on Excel, Word, PowerPoint
