Position Title: Associate, Retail Account Management
The role is to develop, influence and drive the implementation of the growth agenda for his area. Meet sales and distribution targets by effective implementation of sales & development plans. Develop sales forecast for all categories based on trends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define allocation of sales targets to the different territories in consultation with Area Sales Manager based on clear understanding of calendar of inputs / market growth / category growth.
- Plan and achieve distribution expansion as per budget plans.
- Ensure distributor claims are settled in time by proper scrutiny and on field verification.
- Track availability of required manpower at distributors as per plan and monitor their performance and highlight deviations of norms to Area Sales Manager.
- Build trust and relationship with modern trade team and company by providing clarity and solutions to any issue raised by them within a reasonable time frame.
- Execute merchandising strategy by channels / by category and ensure shelf share greater than market for Tier 1 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs).
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
- Full time MBA preferably in sales and marketing.
- Minimum 4 to 8 years of sales experience in FMCG industry / environment.
- Experience in managing field sales team & merchandisers.
- Practical creativity, analytical skills & knowledge of Below the Line (BTL) activities.
- Full time.
- Standard working hours & shift.
- Travel within assigned territory & to head office requires.
